Am I Anti-Christian?
I recently got an email from someone about my book. It was a great question:
“Are you anti-Christian or what??”
The short answer is:
Yes and No.
Yes, in as much as it is about alienating people, following rules, and telling people how far they are from God.
No, in as much as it means seeking God’s purpose for your life and following and living out the teachings of Jesus.
So am I?

Thanks for the thoughts. It’s all very confusing sometimes, isn’t it?
That’s why I am trying to simplify it all as much as I can.
There must be fruit. That’s the only way to really decide anything.
Well… In my opinion…
In regards to your “Yes” answer:
In a very Eph. 4:2 way, I do believe that people need to know what they are being “saved” from, and what separates Christ’s distinct offer of “salvation” from the “enlightenment” of other belief systems. In the Eph. 4:2 way, we do need to convey that our sin separates us all equally. A “unity under sin” of sorts. We obviously know how tricky this can be, because we’ve seen the pride that occurs when conveying this truth.
In regards to your “No” answer:
Eph. 4:15-16 says a lot, but we need to know that aside from flowing in a heavenly gift, our ultimate purpose is a proper/healthy relationship and bringing Him glory in tandem. The process of doing that his this wonderful grey area to me, where the possibilities, within biblical guide-lines of course, are endless (sounds like a contradiction, but there’s literaly enough “stuff” out there that can take an eternity to accomplish). It’s more than a religion; it’s a relationship.
So do I think you’re “Anti-Christian”? I could honestly care less, as long as you’re not Anti-Jesus Christ or Anti-His word, which I know you’re not. So keep on truckin’…
be blessed my friend.
