Top 10 Most Irritating Phrases & More!
I’m back and feeling much better. I’ll try not to harm anyone today. That’s why I’m lightening up the mood with something fun.
Oxford University has done a bunch of research and come up with the top 10 most irritating phrases. These are expressions that have become part our daily talking. They are overused and not necessarily correct, all at the same time. I have also added some of my own observations at the bottom that I think deserve honorable mention. Here we go:
1 – At the end of the day
2 – Fairly unique
3 – I personally
4 – At this moment in time
5 – With all due respect
6 – Absolutely
7 – It’s a nightmare
8 – Shouldn’t of
9 – 24/7
10 – It’s not rocket science
Here are my additions to the list:
*Whole nuther
*It is what it is
*Shoulda, woulda, coulda
*Emo
*Repurpose
*Like
*The Science is settled
*My bad
*Spread the wealth
*110%
Do you have any other ones?
