No passion? I have talked about it here, here, and here. Finally, I am closing up my thoughts on this. I have talked about pain, healing, and a healthy brokenness that are all part of the process of developing or discovering a passion and direction.

Finally, if all goes well and you work through all the aspects of this process something will birth inside of you like nothing else:

You will develop a passion that will fuel the very center of your soul.

A passion will change your life. You may be drawn to a cause, people group, or vision that changes you and the trajectory of your future. You might even start planning a move or figuring out ways to downsize to make this dream a reality.

A passion can also be a calling. Or, more accurately, help you discover your calling.

So what is my passion?

Yes, it is my book. But, more accurately, it is to write. It is to package some ideas I have that consume me, and that I am convinced others need to hear. That may sound like ego, but that’s not what I mean.

What I mean is, I want people to connect with God. And perhaps they can learn from my experiences in this process. In fact, I am sure they can. Or else I wouldn’t bother. I am willing to put it all on the line for this.

It is my passion. And in a few months, it will come to pass as my book finally hits.

Years, lots of dollars, rejection, discouragement, sleepless nights, and a personal life-goal achieved will all come together as my book becomes public.

This is what a passion will bring.
